Probably the freshest Chinese food you will find. Love love love this place. Dont let the plain exterior fool you. You will not be disappointed.

I love this place. It has its own flavor which I can't stop going back to. But it is pretty pricy compared to other Chinese places. But the employees are very friendly :)

Excellent restaurant, great service and we love the dragon and Phoenix appetizer.

This place was really great. I got the sesame chicken and fried rice, but I did not really like the sesame chicken it did not taste real. I would really recommend the bubble tea. The rest of my family said their food was really great.

Service was nice. Meal was good, but not enough that I would go back again.

Excellent customer service saved what could have been a 1-star experience and guaranteed a five-star. Phenomenal lemon chicken, which is not something a lot of places do well. Very reasonably priced lunch specials oh, and good hot and sour soup. Very happy, we'll go back.

Our group had dinner here after the Ren fest. We were very impressed. Their pork fried rice is the best I've ever had. We will surely be back.

Awesome Chinese food ever. Been coming here for years, never have I been unsatisfied. Shrimp Fried rice is the best try it all, I liked everything I've tried on the Menu.

This place provides superb service as well as enjoyable food. The best spot in town. The drinks and food served fast and the prices are reasonable. I recommend this place.

We meet weekly & try different places. The restaurant was very clean, seated immediately, served our drinks correctly. We all chose something different from lunch menu. The sweet/sour chicken was great! Not tons of onions & peppers, all was evenly cooked. Chicken was tender & done all the way thru. Sweet & sour sauce was very good, enough to coat the chicken & veges & had enough sauce to put some on the rice. Verry Good! We ate & chatted for sometime, not hurried out of the restaurant. Drinks were refilled without asking. We were very pleased and recommend this establishment very much!!

The Restaurant was clean. Our waitress was extremely friendly. The food was DELICIOUS. My husband and i will most definitely be going back.

Quick easy and fresh place is great!

I ordered takeout from here, and was very disappointed. I got my food home, sat down, and opened the containers. My sweet and sour chicken was swimming in an odd tasting sweet and sour sauce. The fried batter on the chicken was beyond soggy, and the meat itself was tough. The plain fried rice was salty, too much soy when cooked is my guess. There was also a small chunk of unknown meat in the rice. The crab rangoons had very little filling, and what was there tasted odd. Cant say I'd ever recommend this place.

My least favorite food is eggs, yet they find a way to make me like it. $5.25 for a huge portion of fried rice, an absolute bargain for my favorite meal from any asian restaurant i’ve ever been to.

Really really good. Have the beef in black bean sauce. It's the only place I've seen it over here and it was my fave in the UK. It was as good as home. Rice comes in the cute little cardboard folding baskets and the portions are a really good size. Best Chinese I've eaten in KC

Normally I don’t review because even if there’s an issue it’s never terrible but this time it’s different unfortunately. I ordered pineapple chicken and lo mien, the noodles were extremely overcooked and there was nothing else besides just noodles, the chicken was obviously boiled to the point where it was rubber, I’ve only ever had pineapple chicken that was fried in one way or another. I honestly couldn’t finish it sadly.

Lunch special was the perfect amount. Ordered something different and was pleased.

Ordered last night and it was AWFUL! Nothing was fresh! Soup tastes like a metal pot,chicken was so dry it wasn't eatable and entire meal was DISGUSTING!!!!!

I have been eating at Evergreen Lin's or getting take out for quite a few years now. I have always been pleased with both the food and the service. I have recommended for many.

You know, I've lived within walking distance of this place for almost five years now, and had a disappointing experience with it when I first moved here back then (the chicken was just low-quality). BUT, I was craving Chinese food last night, and I have to say that Evergreen Lin's has not only upped their game, but they delivered the most delicious cashew chicken dish I've ever tasted in my life -- and I've tasted it at a lot of places! I'm still thinking about it today and plan on going back tonight!

This restaurant is my favorite. I eat in many restaurants but here I keep coming back again and again. The stuff is very receptive and the cooking they offer is so appetizing. I am always happy to have a nice dinner in this restaurant. I recommend this place with pleasure.

Hands down best Chinese food in Kansas city! And I've been to many other locations this place is worth the drive for takeout/dine in. Awesome place with great service! Never disappoints!

It's cool food was good

Ordered Combo fried rice minus onions, got home loaded with onions. Beef & chicken was dry and hard.Wont even talk about the crab rangoons, funny taste. Wont go back even though they said they would replace it all.

I come here whenever I have a craving for Chinese food. I always get the same employee that works the front and does serving duties. She is very nice and efficient. She also understands that I’m not a super talkative restaurant goer and doesn’t force me to talk but still checks in to make sure everything is ok. The food is outrageously affordable and it is also delicious. I just really appreciate how I’m treated here. The food is also served steaming hot and fresh. Best Chinese food that I’ve had in the Midwest.

The lady was very nice and patient. Food was just like the service. We had a Vegetarian lunch special and Beef and Broccoli special that came with rice and an your choice of an egg roll, soup or crab rangoon.

This used to be one of the best restaurants around, but something has happened the past few years and the quality has gone down. They used to have a location on State Ave that was really good, but it shut down about 6 years ago. My favorite dish here is the triple delight with pork fried rice.

All the food is good! Love it! The only thing I suggest NOT to order is soup.. For some reason all the soup taste like dirty water... Other than that... Love it.. Friendly,good food and fast service

Never disappointed been coming here for 15 years or more still has amazing service fast and friendly but the food is amazing no matter what you order and always plenty to take home for the next meal I recommend the egg rolls, crab rangoon, and the 818 these are just a few of my favorites

Not a fan. Ordered sweet and sour chicken and the four happiness tray. Do yourself a favor, skip.

I ordered Gen Tso's Chicken for lunch. It was at best, sweet and sweet chicken and took way too long to deliver. I also ordered egg rolls. They were over fried and burnt. The only reason I rated 2 stars was because the service was pretty good. Also, the ceiling and the general decor was in need of a major overhaul. It was dated and dingy.

I ordered delivery from here recently. Some of the food tasted a little different from what I'd expected, specifically the crab rangoon. Not bad, just different. Loved the egg rolls though. The delivery was fast and the food still hot when it got here!

I love this place. I grew up eating the food here and its always good and feels home-y no matter what. I live in Lawrence now and I cant find a single restaurant that measures up to Evergreen. The singapore rice noodles are my absolute favorite, but you can order anything on the menu without worrying if it’ll taste bad.

The service was great, the food left a lot to be desired, the fryed dumplings were not actually fried, the beef fried rice was stale and tasteless, the beef in the rice was rubbery and over cooked.

Evergreen is one of our favorite Chinese restaurants. The service is quick and friendly. The food is fresh, hot, and delicious! The portions are large, and I normally end up with a to-go box. We have also used them for takeout. Again, the takeout is generous portions and they are still hot when we get home. I really like the egg drop soup. It is a go-to for me when I don't feel well. I highly recommend giving them a try if you like great service, fresh food, and great prices!
